Music and Artificial Neural Networks
by
Introduction
updated 2nd january 2003
The aim of this page is to share my experience with artificial neural networks in music and choreography.
I began to study artificial neural networks in 1998 when writing a lisp code to study their behavior and how they can be use as "intelligent" agents in music production. Some extent of this research was also done in dance (see LOL project).
One can find here elements (data, code, writings, ...) to experience artificial neural networks in contemporary music research, for recognition (score following, pattern matching), decision ("logic / symbolic" control), and synthesis.
